In this workshop I will share insights into my experience working with artists for many years. I will show you how artists can set goals for themselves and why it is important to repeatedly question them. Additionally I will cover how you can strengthen your brand as an artist by developing a focused strategy and what type of role feedback will play in the process.

After working for Highsnobiety and studying business administration in Amsterdam, Misla Tesfamariam followed an invitation to Los Angeles, where she worked with Childish Gambino on his second album ›because the internet‹. She brought her experience to Guerilla Entertainment, for example, where she looked after Namika, DAT ADAM and Xatar, among others. Since 2018 Misla worked as an independent artist manager. From 2018 to 2024 she managed Alli Neumann, where she focused on a sustainable approach in terms of artist development and helped Alli found her own label JAGA Recordings which is distributed by Four Music / Sony.
